The Lord' Supper is a weekly remembrance meeting. The Lord Jesus taught his disciples to remember Him by partaking of bread and wine, symbols of His body and blood (Luke 22:19-20). We meet each Sunday to remember the Lord Jesus and His death (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor 11:23-26).
The first portion of the meeting is for worship and congregational singing. The men in church fellowship lead the congregation in praise and worship of Christ.
Worship is followed by the taking of the bread and wine by members of the church. (Please note that taking bread and wine is limited to members of the fellowship.) Everyone is welcome to observe the church carry out this ordinance.
Following a brief Bible message and announcements of future activities, the meeting is ended. Refreshments are served in the basement from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
After a time of singing children's songs in the main auditorium, the children go to classes in the basement where they are taught stories and principles from the Bible. Young people from ages 3 to young adult are the focus of this program.
This meeting is concurrent with the Sunday School following the group singing. It is for adult Bible study, teaching, and preaching (Acts 2:42). The last Sunday of every month two speakers who are in fellowship speak on a variety of Bible topics with a view to instructing, encouraging and strengthening believers.
The Lord Jesus commanded his disciples to go into all the world and preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15). The gospel we preach is that “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day, according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
After a time of congregational singing, two men speak from various Bible texts presenting a clear message about God’s way of salvation.
God's message in the Bible to repent from sin and personally accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord is emphasized (Acts 16:31; 17:30). No “altar calls” are ever held. Anyone desiring a personal conversation will be accommodated.
Following a time of prayer, a select book of the Bible is studied starting with an overview of the chapter, followed by exposition and application. (Please note that participation is limited to members of the fellowship.)
We do not ask for collections from visitors at any of our meetings.
